The League Managers Association (LMA) is the representative body of professional football managers, past and present, from the top 92 league clubs in England. The LMA represents the collective views of its members, moving the game forward in a positive way.

Since its inception in 1992, the LMA has represented its members' interests, providing a range of world class support services from legal advice and healthcare to educational and personal development. It has continued to develop its support and service offering as well as its influence within the game and has become an integral and respected part of the football industry.

The LMA brings together a wealth of football knowledge and experience through its members, the managers, and the LMA Business Club provides access to these managers as well as other likeminded senior executives from a variety of blue chip organisations.

The LMA Business Club aims to:

  • Bring together a unique network of brands and companies
  • Engage its members in football and specifically football management
  • Deliver a range of benefits to its members that benefit both business and brand
  • Create innovative events and experiences for its members
  • Provide insight into management at the highest level

The range of benefits provided for members include (amongst others) an allocation of places at LMA dinners, the LMA management and leadership seminars, match tickets and hospitality, items of LMA limited edition football memorabilia, presence on our website, discounted rates to advertise in the LMA magazine, the Manager, presence in the LMA member newsletter, In the Game, as well as access to and inclusion in various other LMA communication tools including this e-newsletter and the LMA website.

The LMA events that our members have access to include:

  • The recent LMA Hall of Fame 1000 Club Dinner with Harry Redknapp and Sir Alex Ferguson CBE
  • Our upcoming LMA President's Dinner with Fabio Capello on 11 February 2010
  • The LMA Annual Management Conference
  • LMA golf days
  • LMA match tickets – which in 2009 included the England v Croatia World Cup Qualifier match at Wembley, and pre-match hospitality provided by LMA Business Club member, the London Marriott Hotel Regents Park.

In short, the LMA Business Club provides its members with the opportunity to communicate with and promote their organisation and products to, both the LMA members and LMA Business Club members. All this is facilitated within relaxed, networking environments that provide a number of football based benefits and which can open the door to significant ROI.
