As part of its continued sponsorship of the LMA, F&C Investments hosted a series of four dinners with appearances from a selection of LMA ambassadors. The dinners took place in cities across the UK - Cardiff, Manchester, London and Glasgow - and featured fundraising auctions and raffles in aid of the LMA Community Fund.
The events each took the format of an introductory quiz, followed by dinner and the fundraising elements, and culminating in a question and answer session with the managers, hosted by former player and manager, John Duncan, Technical Manager for the LMA.
In October, Cardiff City manager, Dave Jones, and Swansea City manager, Paulo Sousa, took to the stage at the Millennium Stadium to give some insight into their lives on derby day, their thoughts and opinions on signing players and the importance of building team stability.
The second dinner saw the Barclays Premier League newcomer, Owen Coyle, manager of Bolton (formerly of Burnley), and Wigan Athletic manager, Roberto Martinez, take centre stage at the City of Manchester Stadium.
Chelsea's Stamford Bridge provided the setting for the third dinner with Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp and his long time assistant, Joe Jordan.
The fourth and final dinner of the series saw Old Firm rivals Walter Smith and Tony Mowbray come together in a more relaxed environment than normal, at Glasgow's Hilton Hotel.
For F&C, the events provide a valuable platform to communicate with their key clients and partners, as well as adding value to their existing sponsorship of Birmingham City FC.
The LMA would like to thank F&C Investments for their tremendous support and very much look forward to continuing the relationship into 2010.
