Richard Bevan, chief executive of the LMA said;
“Our conference reinforced the similarities between managing at the top level of football and business. The LMA’s conference allows our commercial partners and sponsors to gain an understanding of the principles and practices of football management at the highest level. The key-note speakers gave an incredible insight into their roles, demonstrating that they are outstanding leaders. It was fascinating for some of the most talented names from football and business to share a stage, deliver such a successful event and debate the issues at the heart of good management. The LMA member’s occupy some of the most pressured and visible roles in any industry and today certainly reinforced why football needs to embrace the knowledge and experience of the LMA’s ranks to drive the game forward.” |
