We talked to Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp at the LMA Awards Dinner on 12th May 2003. He was clearly pleased as punch after winning the League Managers Association Manager of the Season award for Division One.
After just over a year in charge of the south coast club, he guided them to promotion, winning the championship with an amazing 98 points.
Here, Harry talks about how his vast experience helps him in day-to-day management and tells stories of a couple of 'difficult' players from his past and present.
He goes on to explain the changes he made to Graham Rix's side that have turned them into the Premiership new boys they have become.
The former West Ham and Bournemouth manager gives away a couple of the secrets to his success before telling us that he's very excited about Portsmouth's first season in the Barclaycard Premiership and the open transfer window.
