Craig Short was confirmed as Blackburn Rovers first team coach in June 2013.

He returned to Ewood Park having served as Head of Recruitment at Derby County's Academy.

He took charge of Notts County on the back of a promotion to League One after The Magpies were crowned Champions of League Two in 2009/10.

Craig returned to Meadow Lane, after spending three years with the club as a player, making 128 league appearances, but then parted company with the club into the 2010/11 season.

As a player, Short was an accomplished centre half, and he represented Scarborough, Derby County, Notts County, Everton, Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield United.
