John Trewick

John Trewick joined Shrewsbury Town as assistant manager in the summer of 2010.

Trewick was previously manager of Hereford United, a club he had been associated with since 2004.

He joined Hereford in the summer of 2004, as assistant manager to Graham Turner.

During his time at Edgar Street, Trewick helped guide The Bulls to two promotions, assisting United to gain promotion from the Conference, and then into League 1.

He was appointed manager in May 2009 and took charge of Hereford in Coca-Cola League Two before he and the club parted company in March 2010.

Prior to joining Hereford, Trewick had spells at West Bromwich Albion and Derby County as coach. During his time with West Brom, he also served as caretaker manager.

Trewick began his playing career at West Brom making over 100 league appearances. Trewick then moved to Newcastle United before spells at Oxford United, Birmingham City, Bromsgrove Rovers, Hartlepool United and Gateshead where he finished his career.
