Reading manager Steve Coppell has scooped the Barclays Manager of the Month Award for November following a three game unbeaten run that saw the Royals win both at home and away.

The Royals rapidly recovered from a defeat away to Liverpool (2-0) to secure solid home wins over Tottenham (3-1) and Charlton (2-0). The month was rounded off by an away win to Fulham (1-0).

Coppell previously won the Barclays Manager of the Month Award in September having lead Reading into their first season in the Barclays Premiership.

Jim Hytner, from the Barclays Awards Panel, said: "Reading continue to impress in their debut season in the Barclays Premiership. Coppell's second award in three months shows he and his club really are at the top of their game."
