Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has won the Barclays Premiership manager of the month award for February.

The Reds won all four games played, beating Birmingham City 2-0 and Portsmouth 2-1 at home, whilst winning both away games 2-0 in the local derby at Manchester City and 4-2 at their fiercest rivals Arsenal.

Sir Alex has now won this prestigious award a record 15 times.

He is modest of his own role in the recent run of form.

"It' because of the performance of the team that they have given me this nice award. It's very good of them to give it to me, but it's the team that has won it."
