Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has won the Barclays Manager of the Month Award for February, the 19th time that he has won the award. The Red Devils won all three of their fixtures last month, scoring eight goals in the process and maintaining their position at the top of the Barclays Premiership table. The Barclays Player of the Month Award went to United legend Ryan Giggs. It is the second time that Ferguson and Giggs have won joint awards this campaign, having both picked up the accolades in August 2006. Jim Hytner, from the Barclays Awards Panel, said: "Consistency has been the key to United's success this season, and there's no better illustration of this than the contribution of Ryan Giggs. Ferguson and Giggs' leadership helped United turn the game around against Fulham and keep the Red Devils firmly in the hunt for the Barclays Premiership title."
