Stuart Pearce has been rewarded for a flying start to the season which has seen the Blues take 10 points from a possible 12, His Manchester City side began the Barclays Premiership campaign with a goalless draw at home to West Bromwich Albion and then went on to claim all the points in their next three games, with away victories at Birmingham City, Sunderland and a home triumph over Portsmouth.
Amazingly, it is the second successive time Pearce has scooped the award even though he only took over from Kevin Keegan in March. He also received the accolade in April.
