Nigel Worthington has been named Nationwide Division One manager of the month for the third time this season after steering champions Norwich City back into the Barclaycard Premiership. Five successive wins in April saw the Canaries end their nine-year top-flight exile - and that record saw Worthington hold off strong competition from West Bromwich Albion's Gary Megson and Iain Dowie of Crystal Palace, who each picked up four wins and a draw. "I'm honoured to have been chosen for the award - but this is for everyone who has contributed to our success this season. It has been a real team effort," said the City boss, who also won the September and December awards. "I remember saying after the last award that it would be that extra bit special if I won it at the end of the season and that's just what has happened. It's a proud moment for all of us."
