MANAGER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER 2008
Barclays Premier League

Gary Megson has been rewarded for an excellent month by being named Barclays Manager of the Month for November.

The Bolton Wanderers manager led his side on a run of form that saw them pick up twelve points from a possible fifteen in the Barclays Premier League, including three wins out of three away from the Reebok Stadium.

Entrenched in the relegation zone at the start of November, Bolton defeated Manchester City 2-0 at home before a remarkable display from goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskalainen at the KC Stadium saw The Trotters overcome Hull City thanks to a single Matthew Taylor strike.

The return to form of Swedish striker Johan Elmander saw Megson's side recover from a 2-0 home defeat to Liverpool by claiming the North East scalps of Middlesbrough (3-1) at the Riverside and Sunderland (4-1) at the Stadium of Light to leave Bolton ninth at the end of the month.
