Birmingham City's Alex McLeish landed the Barclays Manager of the Month Award for December.
McLeish was recognised for his role in a fantastic month for the Blues, in which the St Andrew's side produced four wins and two draws, extending their unbeaten run in the Barclays Premier League to 11 matches and equalling a club record that was set over 100 years ago.
This is the first time that McLeish has won the Barclays Manager of the Month Award. He also becomes the first Birmingham manager to claim the accolade.
McLeish's side began the month with a 3-2 victory away to Wigan Athletic before beating West Ham United.
The Blues secured their fifth consecutive Barclays Premier League victory at home to Blackburn Rovers three days later. Birmingham then gained a point away to Everton before drawing with leaders Chelsea.
They finished the month with an away win at difficult to beat Stoke City.
The decision was made by the Barclays Awards Panel, which includes representatives from football's governing bodies, the media and fans.
