Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed his second Barclays Manager of the Month award this season, during a month in which the Red Devils won every Barclays Premier League game without conceding a goal. United started the month with a convincing 3-0 victory at Fulham, followed by a 1-0 win over Derby at Pride Park with Ronaldo scoring the only goal. The Portuguese winger claimed both goals in the 2-0 win over Bolton and scored again in Manchester United's 3-0 home win against Liverpool. Ferguson's men rounded off March with a 4-0 triumph over Aston Villa, in which Ronaldo scored a potential goal of the season back healing the ball past Scott Carson for the opener. This is Ferguson's 21st Manager of the Month award, first claiming the award in August 1993. The decision was made by the Barclays Awards Panel, which includes representatives from football's governing bodies, the media and fans.
