Cardiff City boss Dave Jones was named the October npower Championship Manager of the Month.
Jones' side enjoyed a perfect month winning all five of their fixtures in the npower Championship playing some wonderful football along the way. Their form in front of goal was especially impressive with 14 goals scored during October, including four in a fantastic away victory against Leeds United at Elland Road.
Alan Curbishley, Chairman of the npower Manager of the Month awards panel commented: "Cardiff City enjoyed a fantastic month to take them to the top of the npower Championship table. With Dave Jones guiding his team to a 100% record for October they are very well placed ahead of the busy winter schedule."
Jones saw off competition from Portsmouth boss Steve Cotterill, Coventry City Manager Aidy Boothroyd and Swansea City Manager Brendan Rodgers.

The Bluebirds boss was presented with the npower Championship Manager of the Month award at the Club's training ground.
