MANAGER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER 2011
npower Championship

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay is the npower Championship Manager of the Month for November.

Mackay led The Bluebirds to an unbeaten month with four wins and a draw during November.

Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley chairs the npower Manager of the Month judging panel.

He said: “November was a terrific month for Malky Mackay as his side combined their impressive unbeaten league run with victory in the Quarter-Finals of the Carling Cup.

“With Cardiff now just three points off an automatic promotion place, the club have enjoyed a fantastic transition since Malky took charge over the summer.”

npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: “Cardiff continued their strong end to October with an almost perfect month of results in November.

“Three clean sheets and 13 points from five games. That’s great form.

“On behalf of npower, I’d like to congratulate Malky and the team, and wish them the best of luck for the rest of 2011 – and the season!”

The judging panel comprises former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, BBC Sport’s Mark Clemmit, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
