Reading manager Brian McDermott is the npower Championship Manager of the Month for March. He also won the award in February.
McDermott led The Royals to 19 points from a possible 24 in March, with six wins, one draw and just a single defeat from their eight fixtures.
Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley chairs the npower Manager of the Month judging panel.
He said: “March proved to be another amazing month for Brian and his Reading team.
“An impressive 4-2 victory away at fellow promotion chasers West Ham has them positioned firmly in second place in the npower Championship.”
npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: “Reading picked up more points than any other side in the npower Championship last month and Brian deserves great credit for this.
“His side have been in fantastic form since the start of February and it’s no surprise to see them pushing for promotion.
“On behalf of npower, I’d like to congratulate Brian and the team, and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
In npower League 1, Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones was named npower Manager of the Month.
The npower League 2 Manager of the Month Award went to Torquay United boss Martin Ling.
The judging panel comprises former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, BBC Sport’s Mark Clemmit, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
