Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock was named the npower Championship Manager of the Month for the second month in succession.
The Hoops have built upon their flying start to the season and have extended their lead at the top of the npower Championship table to six points and are the only remaining side in the npower Championship with an unbeaten record this season.
Warnock's side picked up some impressive results in September including a fine 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough at Loftus Road and another 3-0 victory at Leicester City.
Alan Curbishley, Chairman of the npower Manager of the Month panel commented: " Neil Warnock's side have been fantastic again and have enjoyed another unbeaten month following last month's award. Queens Park Rangers are setting the pace in the npower Championship and will take some catching at this rate."
Warnock saw off competition from Watford boss Malky Mackay, Reading Manager Brian McDermott and Nottingham Forest's Billy Davies to pick up September's award.
Sue Heritage, npower Sponsorship PR Manager commented: "As new sponsors of The Football League we are very excited to be involved in these award presentations. It's great to be able to recognize these individuals who are making the npower Football League such a success. We wish all the teams and fans the best of luck for the continuing season."
Warnock was presented with the npower Championship Manager of the Month award at the Club's training ground, and will show off the award to Queens Park Rangers fans at next Saturday's home fixture against Norwich City.
