Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray is the npower Championship Manager of the Month for September.
Mowbray led Boro to second in the table with two wins and two draws from four league games.
Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley chairs the npower Manager of the Month judging panel.
He said: “Middlesbrough have continued their great start to this season as Mowbray’s men remain unbeaten in the npower Championship.
“With Boro not conceding a single goal this month I am sure they will prove hard to beat this campaign.”
npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: “Middlesbrough remain the only Championship side yet to suffer defeat this season so it’s only right that Tony picks up this month’s award.
“He has got his team superbly organised and four consecutive clean sheets is a great achievement.
“I’d like to congratulate Tony and the team on behalf of npower, and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
The judging panel comprises former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, BBC Sport’s Mark Clemmit, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
