Notts County manager Martin Allen is the npower League 1 Manager of the Month for September.
Allen led his side to four wins and a draw to take them to the brink of the League 1 Play-Off places.
Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley chairs the npower Manager of the Month judging panel.
He said: “It was a great month for Notts County as Allen’s men earned the most points in npower League 1.
“In addition to their five league games, they also drew with Juventus in a friendly in Italy to mark a memorable occasion for the club. Martin and his side truly deserve this award.”
npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: “Notts County were in excellent form last month, taking 13 points from a possible 15.
“Martin has done a fantastic job in turning a team who narrowly avoided relegation last season into promotion hopefuls.
“I’d like to congratulate Martin and the team on behalf of npower, and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
The judging panel comprises former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, BBC Sport’s Mark Clemmit, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
