Bury boss Alan Knill was named the October npower League 2 Manager of the Month.
Knill's side enjoyed a great run of form in October, picking up 13 points out of a possible 15 to move into the automatic promotion places. The Shakers were lethal in front of goal scoring twelve goals during the month and recorded impressive away victories over Aldershot Town and Torquay United.
Alan Curbishley, Chairman of the npower Manager of the Month awards panel commented: '"Alan Knill has done a fantastic job at Bury over the past few seasons and his side are again well placed in npower League 2. The Shakers continued their fine form from September into October, going unbeaten for the month."
Knill held off competition from Chesterfield Manager John Sheridan, Cheltenham Town boss Mark Yates and Wycombe Wanderers' Gary Waddock to win the npower League 2 Manager of the Month award.
