Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws has been named Coca-Cola Championship Manager of the Month for November.

Laws' side enjoyed a fantastic month, picking up three wins and two draws from five league fixtures in November. This unbeaten run included a memorable away win over Plymouth Argyle and a solid victory at home against in-form Barnsley. However, the undoubted highlight of the month was the 5-0 victory against Southampton at Hillsborough which helped lift the Owls out of the danger zone in The Coca-Cola Championship.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said:

"There was a lot of pressure on Brian at the beginning of November and he and his team have responded in terrific style. He has handled his players well and has been able to lead them on a magnificent run throughout the month."
