MANAGER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER 2008
Coca-Cola Championship

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy has been named Coca-Cola Championship Manager of the Month for November.

McCarthy's side enjoyed an excellent month, with five wins and a draw from their six league fixtures. They began November with three points away at Cardiff City before extending their winning streak to seven games with victories against Burnley, Southampton, Blackpool and Sheffield United. They finished the month with a solid point against local rivals and fellow title challengers Birmingham City to leave Wolves with a clear lead at the top of the Coca-Cola Championship as they head into December.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Mick McCarthy's Wolves side are going from strength-to-strength this season. They have enjoyed another hugely successful month, taking maximum points from all but one of their league fixtures, and are clearly going to be the team to catch at the top of the Championship this season."
