Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has been named Coca-Cola Championship Manager of the Month for December. Warnock's side were in fantastic form during December, remaining unbeaten in their seven league fixtures. This fine run included an excellent Christmas period as the Eagles recorded a home win over Plymouth Argyle and away victories at both Coventry City and Sheffield United. Seventeen points from a possible twenty one during the month has seen Warnock lift his side to within just a point of the Play-Off places in the Coca-Cola Championship. Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "When Neil Warnock took over as manager at Crystal Palace in October last year he claimed it would be the hardest job he would ever have as a manager. But just under three months into the job he has worked miracles at the club and their transformation has been incredible. Palace are a side high in confidence and playing some excellent football and their unbeaten month in December has seen them rise to within striking distance of a Play-Off place."
