Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has been named Coca-Cola Championship Manager of the Month for February.

Watford continued their rich vein of form in the Championship in February with four wins from five games. They began the month with one of the most impressive performances of the season, inflicting a 4-1 defeat on title hopefuls Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. This was followed by victories over Coventry City, Brighton & Hove Albion and Cardiff City to leave the Hornets in pole position in the race to secure a Play-Off place.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Aidy Boothroyd has done a fantastic job at Watford this season and fully deserves his award. His side produced a terrific points haul in February to help cement their position in the Play-Off places. Their win over Sheffield United really made everyone stand up and take note of just what a force they have become in the Championship."
