Sunderland manager Roy Keane can celebrate back-to-back Manager of the Month successes after being named Coca-Cola Championship Manager of the Month for March. Sunderland were the in form team in the Coca-Cola Championship in March. Roy Keane's side took maximum points from four of their five league games, beginning with an outstanding away win at promotion rivals West Bromwich Albion in their opening game of the month. This was followed by victories over both Barnsley and Hull City, either side of a dramatic late draw with Stoke City to preserve the Black Cats long unbeaten run. Keane's men ended March with another impressive away win at Play-Off hopefuls Cardiff City to move in to the automatic promotion places in the Coca-Cola Championship. Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "It is not easy to win back-to-back manager of the month awards but Roy Keane's achievements again this month are there for all to see. His team were unbeaten in March and have yet to lose a game in 2007. If they can sustain this tremendous run for the remainder of the season there is no reason why Roy Keane cannot cap his remarkable progression as a manager with promotion to the Premiership."
