Coventry City Manager Micky Adams has been awarded April's Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Award in the Coca-Cola Championship. Adams' side were in relegation trouble before the start of April but an impressive run of form, which saw them record three wins, two draws and just one defeat helped lift the Sky Blues away from danger. The highlight of their recent turnaround came last weekend with a 6-2 victory over Play-Off hopefuls Derby County, a match which also brought the curtain down on the club's illustrious Highfield Road home. Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Micky has guided Coventry to 11 points out of a possible 18 to take his side five points clear of the relegation zone. Without this run of good form they would have been in big trouble. They also had an impressive 6-2 win over Derby last weekend which was the perfect way to celebrate their last ever game at Highfield Road."
