MANAGER OF THE MONTH FOR APRIL 2007
Coca-Cola Championship

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has been named Coca-Cola Championship Manager of the Month for April.

Stoke City have enjoyed a terrific season under Tony Pulis and their fine run of form continued throughout April. The Potters recorded three wins and two draws from five games, beginning with a comprehensive away win at Play-Off rivals West Bromwich Albion. Home victories over Crystal Palace and Colchester United followed either side of consecutive scoring draws against Cardiff City and Hull City. This superb unbeaten run sees Pulis' side head into the final weekend of the season with a chance of still securing a Play-Off place in the Coca-Cola Championship.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Tony Pulis has done a terrific job at Stoke City this season. He has made some really astute loan signings which have added real quality to his side. Their unbeaten run in April could not have come at a better time and their terrific performances could yet be rewarded with a Play-Off place come Sunday afternoon."
