Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll has been named Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month for January.

Doncaster Rovers began the New Year in terrific form, taking maximum points from three of their four league games in January. Their winning run included home victories over local rivals Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United as well as an impressive away win at Gillingham. Sean O'Driscoll's side also earned a creditable draw with Coca-Cola League 1 leaders Scunthorpe United to end the month just outside the Play-Off places.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Sean O'Driscoll is a very talented coach who is starting to make his mark at Doncaster. He arrived earlier this season from Bournemouth with high expectations from fans and the added pressure of a move to a new stadium to contend with. So far his side have not disappointed, picking up some impressive results and remaining unbeaten at their new home to keep them in the hunt for a League 1 Play-Off place."
