Swansea City's Roberto Martinez is celebrating after being awarded the January Coca-Cola Football League Manager of the Month award for Coca-Cola League One.

Martinez is only the second manager since 2004 to win the prestigious Coca-Cola Manager of the Month award three times in one season. His side have been in fantastic form throughout January, securing 14 points from a possible 18. This points haul included victories away at Luton Town and Doncaster Rovers. The Swans excellent run has ensured they remain the team to beat having stretched their advantage to ten points at the top of Coca-Cola League One.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Roberto Martinez's Swansea continue to enjoy a remarkable season in League 1. They are the best footballing side in the division and month after month just keeping sweeping all before them. If the Swans can keep up their current level of consistency it will be very difficult for anyone to stop them gaining promotion to the Championship this season."
