Oldham Athletic manager John Sheridan has been named Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month for November. Sheridan's team continued their rise up the Coca-Cola League 1 table in November by taking maximum points from their three league games. Their winning run started with an away victory at Cheltenham Town and was followed by a home win against Bradford City. The Latics saved their most eye-catching performance for the final league game of the month, running out comprehensive winners over local rivals Huddersfield Town to move into the top six in Coca-Cola League 1. Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "John Sheridan is a young manager with a big future in the game. He got his opportunity when Ronnie Moore left Boundary Park in the summer and has certainly grabbed it with both hands. Over the past few weeks John has got his side playing some really good football and as a result the Latics are now firmly making their mark in the League 1 promotion shake-up."
