Milton Keynes Dons manager Roberto Di Matteo has been named Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month for November.

Di Matteo's men enjoyed a fantastic month in November with four wins in as many league fixtures. They began the month by securing maximum points at home to Tranmere Rovers before bagging comprehensive back-to-back victories away at Hartlepool United and Walsall. The Dons extended their winning run with three points against Hereford United to round off a perfect month and they now have top spot in Coca-Cola League 1 firmly in their sights.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "It has been a fairytale start to life at MK Dons for Roberto Di Matteo. Although he played at the highest level he had been out of the game for five years prior to his appointment and many thought it might take him a while to find his feet in management. But Roberto has proved his doubters wrong by keeping the club moving forward brilliantly and their results this month have demonstrated that MK Dons are going to be serious contenders for the League 1 title this season."
