Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark was named Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month for November.
Clark’s men enjoyed an excellent month in November, winning three of their four league fixtures. They began the month in outstanding form, recording an away win at Oldham Athletic before netting six goals in a comprehensive victory against Wycombe Wanderers. A further three points against Hartlepool United helped the Terriers secure an impressive nine points in the month and climb five league places, leaving them in the Coca-Cola League 1 Play-Off places as they head into December.
Also short-listed for the November award were Phil Parkinson of Charlton Athletic, Simon Grayson of Leeds United and Swindon Town’s Danny Wilson.
Alan Curbishley, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: “Clark’s side enjoyed a great month in November with some fantastic displays, especially against Wycombe Wanderers which they won 6-0. They also successfully negotiated two difficult cup ties and climbed the league into the Play-Off places.”
