Brentford manager Martin Allen has been named Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month for February.

Allen's side continued their impressive league form in February, notching up three consecutive wins from five games. The highlights saw them hit five goals past Walsall in the opening game of the month as well as gaining a crucial home victory over fellow title rivals Southend United. This excellent points haul helped the Bees end the month in the League 1 Play-Off places but with the top spot still firmly in their sights.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Martin Allen's side continue to go from strength-to-strength. Despite losing DJ Campbell in January the goals have kept flowing and they have enjoyed another terrific month. Their result against league leaders Southend was fantastic and with games in hand on the sides above them they definitely have every chance of reclaiming the League 1 top spot."
