John Ward of Carlisle United has won the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month award for February in Coca-Cola League 1.

Carlisle United have been the form side throughout February, remaining unbeaten in their five league fixtures. League victories over play-off hopefuls Walsall and Huddersfield Town laid the foundation for this run which continued with a fine home win over high flying Doncaster Rovers at Brunton Park. Three points away against Crewe Alexandra ensured the Cumbrians finished the month in the automatic promotion places at the top of Coca-Cola League 1.

Chris Kamara said: "Carlisle overcame a difficult period at the start of the year to bounce back with a fine run of results in February. Four wins from five games this month has taken the Cumbrians back into the automatic promotion places in League One."
