Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has been named Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month for March.
Jackett’s side enjoyed another terrific month in March, remaining unbeaten with four victories and a draw from their five league games. His side kicked-off the month with an away draw at Walsall and followed this with a comprehensive away win at Carlisle United. The undoubted highlight for the Lions followed in their back-to-back victories over fellow promotion rivals Charlton Athletic and Leeds United to ensure Jackett’s men ended the month just outside the automatic promotion places in Coca-Cola League 1.
Alan Curbishley, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: “Millwall have enjoyed another outstanding month under the guidance of Kenny Jackett. Their unbeaten run has seen them go from Play-Off candidates to now be hot on the heels of Leeds United and strong challengers for an automatic promotion place in League 1.”
