Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has been named Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month for September.

Jackett's men have enjoyed a fantastic month with four wins from four league fixtures, keeping three clean sheets and conceding just one goal in the process. The Lions began the month with a victory against Hartlepool United before sealing three important points at high-flying Leicester City. Their impressive run continued with back-to-back wins against Cheltenham Town and away at Swindon Town, leaving the club sitting comfortably in the Play Off places heading into October.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Kenny Jackett's side have been in terrific form throughout September, remaining unbeaten and conceding just the one goal in four league games. They enjoyed comfortable home wins over both Hartlepool and Cheltenham but it was their away form which really stood out, in particular their excellent victory at the Walkers Stadium against League 1 promotion favourites Leicester City."
