Northampton Town manager Colin Calderwood has been named Coca-Cola League 2 Manager of the Month for January.

Northampton Town were unbeaten during January, winning three and drawing three of their six league games. The highlights saw them record an impressive 2-1 away victory over promotion rivals Leyton Orient, as well as hitting five goals past Macclesfield Town. This fine run of form has helped the Cobblers cement their position in the League 2 play-off places.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Northampton have reached the Play-Off semi finals in each of the past two seasons under Colin Calderwood but his side seem more determined than ever to secure an automatic promotion place this season. Their win over Leyton Orient shows just how well they are playing and if they continue in this form they have every chance of securing a top three finish come May."
