Lincoln City manager John Schofield has been named Coca-Cola League 2 Manager of the Month for October.

Schofield's side continued their impressive start to the season by winning each of their four league games in October. They produced some outstanding goal-scoring displays along the way, netting five goals without reply at Barnet and an incredible seven at home to Rochdale. Their maximum points haul for the month sees the Imps head in to November as the current leaders of Coca-Cola League 2.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said:

"John Schofield has enjoyed a terrific start to life as Lincoln manager. His side have been absolutely flying over the past few weeks, scoring 15 goals and conceding just one in October. On this form the Imps look like being the team to beat in League 2 this season."
