Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has been named Coca-Cola League 2 Manager of the Month for October. Jackson's side enjoyed an excellent month, with five wins and a draw from their six league fixtures. The Imps began October with three points away at Chester City before coming from behind to secure a draw against Rochdale. Four straight victories followed over Chesterfield, Macclesfield Town, Bournemouth and Gillingham to leave Jackson's men unbeaten and with an impressive 16 points from the 18 available during the month. Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Lincoln's form during October has capped a remarkable few months for Peter Jackson. He endured a difficult time last season after been diagnosed with throat cancer but thankfully got the all clear in June and has not looked back since. His side have produced some outstanding displays during the month and Peter fully deserves this award for the battling qualities he and his team have shown."
