Yeovil Town boss Gary Johnson has been named the Coca-Cola League Two Manager of the Month for December.

Johnson's men won five straight games over Kidderminster Harriers, Grimsby Town, Leyton Orient, Cheltenham Town and Cambridge United, to take over as leaders from Scunthorpe United.

"This is particularly pleasing because of the amount of games we have had in a short space of time," Johnson said.

"We are in a good position and have lots of confidence but there are 20 games to go and we will have to work really hard to stay where we are."
