Milton Keynes Dons manager Paul Ince has been named Coca-Cola League 2 Manager of the Month for December. Paul Ince has enjoyed another superb month with his side securing 13 points from a possible 15 during their five league fixtures. The Dons began the month in style with an away win over Dagenham and Redbridge followed by a superb 5-0 victory over Accrington Stanley at stadiummk. Further away victories over in-form Peterborough United and Notts County ensured MK Dons start 2008 with a commanding lead at the top of Coca-Cola League 2. Also short-listed for the December award were Sammy McIlroy of Morecambe, Keith Hill of Rochdale and Wycombe Wanderers' Paul Lambert. Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Paul Ince continues to do a fantastic job at MK Dons and his reputation as one of the best young managers in the game is growing all the time. There was lots of speculation linking Paul with the vacant managers job at Derby a month or so ago but full credit to him for the way in which he remained focus on the job in hand with The Dons. His side's considerable points haul in December means they remain the team to catch in League 2."
