MANAGER OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER 2008
Coca-Cola Football League Two

Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still has been named Coca-Cola League 2 Manager of the Month for December.

Dagenham & Redbridge rounded off a successful 2008 by remaining unbeaten throughout December. They began the month with a creditable away draw at promotion rivals Bradford City before notching up back-to-back victories away at Macclesfield Town and at home to Gillingham. The highlight of the month for John Still's men came in their final game of December, with a late strike sealing all three points for the Daggers against Aldershot Town to move them up to within striking distance of the automatic promotion places in Coca-Cola League 2.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "John Still continues to do a fantastic job at Dagenham & Redbridge. His side have been in great form in December, winning three of their four games and scoring nine goals in the process. The result which really caught the eye was their win over Aldershot, who up until that point were unbeaten at home since their return to The Football League. If they can maintain this level of consistency there is no reason why the Daggers can't be among the promotion shake-up come the end of the season."
