Macclesfield Town Manager Brian Horton has been awarded February's Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Award in Coca-Cola League 2.

He took over at the club at the end of last season during a relegation battle but Horton's side are now on a promotion charge and are now 3rd in Coca-Cola League 2.

February saw Macclesfield gain four consecutive victories, beating leaders Yeovil Town, Rochdale and Bristol Rovers at home and winning 1-0 at Cambridge United.

Manager Horton said, " I'm really pleased with the reaction I've been getting from the players. It's been fantastic.

"It's gone really well for us so far but there is still a long way to go."
