Southend United Manager Steve Tilson has been awarded the March Manager of the Month Award in Coca-Cola League 2.

March saw the Shrimpers unbeaten in five matchesT hey had victories at Cheltenham Town and Cambridge United, plus a draw at Chester City. At Roots Hall they beat Rochdale and drew with Lincoln City.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Steve's record this month speaks for itself, with his team now sitting in second place and firmly in contention in the race for the Coca-Cola League 2 title."
