Carlisle United manager Paul Simpson has been named Coca-Cola League 2 Manager of the Month for March.

Paul Simpson's side continued their march to the League 2 title by winning each of their four league games in March, scoring 13 goals in the process. They began the month with a resounding 3-0 away win at Northampton Town and continued their rich goal-scoring form by hitting five without reply in their next game against Darlington. Home wins over Boston United and Lincoln City followed to help the Blues stretch their lead at the top of League 2.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Paul Simpson's side have enjoyed another incredible unbeaten month and just keep going from strength-to-strength. Their goal-scoring record in March was nothing short of sensational and underlines just how dominant they have been. They continue to fight off all before them at the top of League 2 and look certain to achieve back-to-back promotions this season."
