Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson can celebrate his third Manager of the Month success of the season after being named Coca-Cola League 2 Manager of the Month for March.

March was another fantastic month for Danny Wilson's men, with three wins and two draws helping his side extend their lead at the top of Coca-Cola League 2. The month started with a narrow win over Hereford United and was followed by back-to-back scoring draws, including an incredible fight-back from three goals down to earn a share of the points at Play-Off hopefuls Stockport County. The Pools rounded off March in style with comprehensive victories over both Darlington and Chester City to stretch their unbeaten league run to 23 games.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "For this to be Danny Wilson's third manager of the month award this season, after his successes in September and February, speaks volumes for his side's achievements over the past few months. They are now 23 league games unbeaten, a run which stretches back to November and includes 19 victories, and look certain to be playing League 1 football next season."
