Scunthorpe United Manager Brian Laws has been awarded April's Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Award in Coca-Cola League 2.

The Irons were unbeaten during April, recording three wins, at home to Cambridge United and Bristol Rovers, and away at Northampton Town, and two draws, at home to Macclesfield Town and away at Grimsby Town. They conceded just one goal all month.

Laws' side are now just a point behind leaders Yeovil as the race for the Coca-Cola League 2 title goes down to the final weekend of the season.

Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said:

"Brian was awarded the Manager of the Month award back in August after an impressive start to the season and his side are now finishing on a high note. Scunthorpe have remained unbeaten this month and are maintaining their push for the league title right through to the end of the season."
