Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope has been named Coca-Cola League 2 Manager of the Month for April. Bristol Rovers have enjoyed a remarkable run of form in the final few weeks of the season, registering four wins and two draws from their six league games in April. The Pirates success was based on a succession of clean sheets, leading to a home victory over Bury and away wins at Mansfield Town and Macclesfield Town. But the undoubted highlight saw Rovers record a narrow win over local rivals Swindon Town last weekend to move up in to the Play-Off places in Coca-Cola League 2. Chris Kamara, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Paul Trollope's Bristol Rovers haven't stopped winning in the final few weeks of the season. Their terrific unbeaten run, which stretches back to early March, has seen the Pirates come from nowhere to remain in contention for a League 2 Play-Off place with just one game of the season remaining."
