Notts County Manager Gudjon Thordason has been awarded August's Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Award in the Coca-Cola League Two.

The Magpies have really set the pace at the start of the new season, unbeaten, on top of the division, with 14 points from 6 matches.

They have a 100% record at Meadow Lane, having defeated Wrexham (1-0), Lincoln City (2-1) and Bristol Rovers (2-0).

Away from home they drew at both Torquay United (0-0) and Stockport County (1-1), whilst defeating local rivals Mansfield Town (3-2).
